What We Do
We provide a full range of opportunities and services at an apartment located in a multicultural neighborhood along the Buford Highway corridor in Chamblee, GA.

- Survival, beginning English
- Conversational English
- Writing in English
- After-school programs
- Tutorial sessions for elementary and middle school children
- Enrichment activities
- Consultation with the schools on the needs of the children involved
- TOEFL tutoring and SAT preparation classes for high school students
- Career education classes
- development of the skills necessary for employment
- how to fill out job applications
- how to retain a job once acquired
- Various forms of tutoring, coaching, and mentoring, as needed and requested
- Life-skill classes
- Training others to work with internationals
- Leadership training for others
- Initiate field trips to provide:
- Exposure to places, events, and activities outside their community
- Options for choices on assimilation and involvement
- Provide social services to those in and outside the neighborhood:
- Counsel with families regarding their elderly and children
- Inform them of services and ministries in the area
- Transport people to and from doctors’ visits, medical laboratories, etc
- Interpret medical information from the doctor to the patient in a language the patient can comprehend when his/her language is not available at the doctor’s office
- Interpret information from the patient to the medical staff
- Help with paperwork received by the immigrants
- Follow up to ensure compliance with medical instructions
- Consult with the patients’ families to ensure that they understand the situation and know how to assist
